Broodmares with Performance and Foundation Bloodlines
The mare line is an important part of our program coupled with the solid foundation stallions that we stand. These mares are daughters and granddaughters of some of the top performing bloodlines in the industry. Such as Poco Bueno, King, Smart Little Lena, Doc Bar, Son O Sugar, Docs Jack Sprat, Leo's Question, Colonel Freckles, Easy Jet, Poco King Tuck,and Poco Blunder just to name a few. Schafer Quarter Horses Raises a Versatile Horse
Schafer Quarter Horses strives to produce a versatile horse that can compete in many different types of events at the top level of competition. Colonel Dickens has proven himself to be that type of horse earning his NCHA COA and producing colts with his long sweeping cutting motions, his smooth rocking chair lope, and speed to burn. Dickens has proven to pass these traits on to his offspring with performers in Reining, Cutting, Team Penning, Roping, Barrel Racing and Western Pleasure.
Smart Little Ramrod our palomino son of Smart Little Lena should not only add color to our program but a solid pedigree with solid achievements as a World Champion, NRHA Earnings, and AQHA Superior ROMs in Heeling and Reining! Our Poco Bueno stallions go on to add the solid bone and foundation characteristics.
These stallions along with mare lines heavy with the foundation and Cow Horses Top Sires keep our program on track. Which is to produce a quality intelligent horse that will work in any program.
